I think you were going more Ferris Bueller, less War Games.

    Try again.

Can't say I necessarily agree with this. I've found that graduating with honors only gets your foot in the door to an interview. A higher designation of honors over a lower one doesn't mean much once you've gotten past the initial screening process.

    Just my experience.

Yeah but this kid is in high school. If you're gonna slack off, at least do it in college where you still get the degree plus the joys of four years of collegic fun.

High school blows compared to college.

Be careful kid... You may not have to go to court if you aren't frequently absent/tardy, but if your behavior becomes excessive, your school may ticket you. And if you get ticketed enough, you may end up going to court, usually the Justice of the Peace. I know b/c I counsel a lot of youth who have problems with truancy.

FWIW - I only managed one year of HS without a tardy or missed day... my 10th grade year.

It is an accomplishment. It is noteworthy.

I fail to understand why some of you don't understand the value of rewarding both punctuality and presence.

Perhaps this is why you can wear "flair" to your jobs? :p
