Well, of course it's a marketing ploy, but it's a win-win situation for the needy and Campbell's. Nothing wrong with that.
Hey, what are you doing! Trying to get me click the Texans instead of the Cowboys...I almost did it too. But really, thanks for the link. Its for a VERY good cause and is not much of a bother at all. Only wish I could click once every hour, then we'd have a bunch.
Well, the site says that the goal is 5,000,000 cans, so Cambell's was probably going to donate that many cans no matter what, this way, it makes people feel involved so they can market their product while donating the cans. They'll probably have the site up and running until 5,000,000 cans, or just fudge the numbers on the site if it goes too long. Needy people were going to get 5,000,000 cans no matter what, though.
I've been clicking the last few days on the Seattle Seahawks helmet (since i live in vancouver, wanna help a place close to me). And guess how many cans they have donated??? 4,362 thats it!

Remember that you can vote from both home and work-- different IP addresses. Let's keep up the good work.
That's why Cambell's soup is mmmmm, mmmmmm good. Shameless plug... and/or bump. Vote Houston Vote Click Texans Click
Ahead of the Cowboys, I explained this to a Cowboy fan here at work, and his reply was "Man, we don't have starving people in Dallas." Typical
90,712 donated by Texans fans. 46,638 donated by Bears fans. Being a network admin has its advantages. I can vote 100's of times
Dallas is only 25k behind....wait...that's not good....or is it since its food...huh? I hope everyone is still doing this. I almost forget to everyday, but this thread reminds me to. Very, very good cause. Very.
