Well, I'm always there.

Seriously though I used to work at Barnes & Noble about three years ago and believe me it's filled with perverts.

1. On serveral occasions when we had readings for children it would bring out the pedophiles. Men would come up with no children and just hang around and watch the kids. They would come in on several occasions without kids and we would start to recognize them. My manager wouldn't let us throw them out because he said we could get sued without proof that they were doing anything. I really wish they would have let me.

2. Just about every day in the bathroom we would find an open Playboy in there.

3. There was a man who liked to come in red bike shorts and sit down and read. That's not so bad but this guy was either hung like a horse or had a prostetic Dirk Diggler sized crank. Not that I was looking but it was pointed out by one of my managers to take a look at his shorts and you couldn't miss it. He would come in around once a week.

So the moral is to stay away from any Barnes & Noble because the scum of the earth flock there.

 

That first one is just disturbing.

Boy do I feel like a fool now. A friend's friend recently asked me where she could go in town to meet some nice, friendly men and I suggested Barnes & Noble off the top of my head. Ah well, that's life I guess.

 

If Trader_Jorge said he can suck a 24 ounce beer in under 4 seconds, I believe him. Rice U. has a beer/bike event that practices this. However, I will say that I've seen a sub-gravity suck...and you can't do that at home with a glass. It takes a specially designed spout on a can. What is it again TJ: Gravity will pull a 24 ounces out a can with a shot-gun at about 3.1 seconds, right??? Or is it less. A sub-gravity suck is faster than turning the can over and letting it pour out (with a fingertip sized hole on the bottom).

btw: it's been so long, I could totally be off my times. Whatever it is, this dude could suck it dry in less than 3 full sucks.

 

I hate finding the open porno in the bathroom at B + N's. I spend the next 10 minutes trying to find the spooge so I don't step in it or touch it. There are some depraved muthers out there.

luckily, she was my friend's ex-girlfriend, so it didn't matter what she thought of me. she was a "no trespassing" zone.

try the uh ballroom group. That's got quite a few nice, educated gents. Learning to dance is a fun plus. Available again this spring. All the rest of you, too. You do get to dance in close body contact with attractive people of your choosing for a minutes at a time. Not a bad way to get to know if you like someone. Not required to be a student. Several advanced degree dance partner options.

Dancing studios are also another place to meet interesting people. I signed up for Salsa Dancing lessons once, and met some nice girls. The lessons were pretty cheap, and plus it's a great way to ask one of the girls (also taking dancing lessons) out on a date ... you know so you can practice what you've just learned.
