Help my niece find good places to party and meet boys

Are they cute? Im not going to have many friends if I move to Houston, so this may be a blessing in desguise.

I would have a good job, and Im a nice guy.

meeting people is way too complicated, im giving up trying, unless i meet someone..and they call me like every night to try to get to know me...then ill have no choice but to give in..

other than that...i give up...

 

If they are girls, I would suggest they go outside of where they live. That way guys will see them and then the guys will come up with some ideas about how to meet them. The only thing your niece has to remember is that if she wants a nice guy then follow these rules:

1 - no nookie for four months.
2 - no 2nd base for one month.
3 - don't get insecure and let the guy manipulate you into
doing things you don't want to do - like get wasted or naked.
4 - judge the guy on more criteria than "Is he going to make me
look good?"

I know you probably don't want to talk about nookie and your niece, but I just tell it how it is. She can actually wait longer on the nookie if she is good at other things...

 

I wanted to say "my dorm room," but this whole line of joking is played out already, so that means that I will make constructive suggestions to your thread TBar.

First of all, nice guys can be found everywhere you go. Your nieces want specific places to find good men, so the easiest solution is naming places where you won't find too many bad guys. Theatre, places like the Alley are good starting points, they need to do cultured things like that and certain festivals that happen in Downtown. Introduce them to people you know. If you don't know any nice guys in their age group, well, look no further than the BBS. These guys kid, but some of them could be just the kind of men your niece and her friend are looking for. If you post a pic or two, or just talk about them, get some of these guys interested, meet them yourself first like at a rocket's game or at a sports bar, if you think they are worthy, set them up with your niece and her friend.

Good places: Hmm.... There are charity benefits constantly in Houston in which you can buy tickets relatively cheap and you come across nice people. They can be a bit stuffy and fake at times, but at least you get to mingle and can be introduced around.
Its not that rare to see groups of mid 20's girls at these events together....... my company buys tables at these events so this gives me ample opportunity to plunder!

Other Places: The Houstonian social's are nice, but you have to be a member, if they have good jobs, they can probably afford a social membership thats discounted until they are 35 I believe.

Houston is a small town in a big town, so just tell them not to do anything truly silly (unless its with me!) because their reputation is hard to change once its been made.

Seriously, some of the suggestions are good like Barnes and Noble and believe it or not, church is good too. Also, look at the library. But you need them to go to places where they will have the opportunities to meet guys (and preferably guys that aren't jerks).

 

Perhaps this group of people called Clutch City is the wrong group of people to ask this question.
