I already explained this. It's not cheating period. It's cheap, but not cheat.

It's cheating because you're not voting, it's a script is doing it for you which gives you an unfair advantage. While it is "within the rules" and "cheap", it''s DOUCHEBAGuish, sir.

While I do agree... if Strait Jesuit is also using auto-clickers (and they are) then why not level the playing field? Why not give ourselves a fair chance?

He doesn't care as long as his school wins. Great morals we're teaching kids these days, huh?

About 10 years ago, I was playing in this band and were were in a competition to get this last spot at a festival in Vegas. The contest was pretty simple. There was a poll and whoever got the most votes got the spot. Well, voting ended and we had the most votes but it turned out that one of the guys in our band had gone around to various message boards, asking people to go the the site and vote for our band. But instead of the link taking them to the site, clicking the link automatically cast a vote for us. The organizers found out and disqualified us.

At the time, we let our desire to win and play this festival convince us that what this guy did wasn't "technically" cheating but in retrospect it most certainly was and we were right to be disqualified.

I hope something similar happens to Morton Ranch and any other school out there letting a computer stuff the ballot box for them.

are there really any winners when the prize is a Flo Rida concert?

and how does one have a career sink to the point of playing high school pep rally's?

Sure... "two wrongs make a right"?

 Keep digging yourself into that huge [ass]hole, sir. You might start to believe you're doing your school a favor... THIS WAY.

Okay... but think of this... in your case auto-clicking was considered illegal am I right? Against the rules of the contest.

In our case the contest clearly states you can "VOTE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU PLEASE." With a statement like that, it pretty much condones the use of auto-clickers...

Do we wish that everyone played fair and we actually voted using conventional means? Yes. But unfortunately in this day and age this is what it all amounts to. Cheap dirty tactics. It's like politics... nobody plays clean and fair, and those that do... lose.

Wait, Flo Rida is a dude? I thought it was a chick. It just sounds like a name a chick would adopt.

*You can tell how much rap/hip-hop I listen to.

    "LMAO"

"VOTE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU PLEASE."

The operating word here is "YOU", manually... not "A SCRIPT", sir. I still can't believe you're not getting it.

Real talk. But hey. If it's a FREE concert, why not?

I understand where you are coming from, I really do. And I also wish the site would have implemented a one vote per day rule... But unfortunately, they gave too much freedom to the voters...

They admitted to it. And since we're on even playing fields... they are starting to trash us and trash our school.

I clicked the link to initiate the script.

If a man is shot to death. Who/what is at fault? The shooter who pulled the trigger? Or the gun itself?

Same rules apply. Horrible analogy, yes. But same rules.
I am not glorifying what I am doing here. I merely want both sides to vote on even terms...

Yes, unfortunately so. If 95.7 FM decides to disqualify all those using unfair tactics then so be it. It'd just be ridiculous if SJ were to be the only ones auto-clicking and if they ended up winning.

    Fight fire with fire.
