Yup, I used to be a big fan of FLA in the early-to-mid-90's when I was more into the industrial music. I love a lot of Delerium's stuff as well. They did some stuff with Sara McLachlan. What's funny about Delerium is that when Enigma was popular, I went to Record Rack and asked them what I would like if I liked Enigma. Delerium was one of the suggestions. I still think Enigma's earlier stuff is better though.

Good call - "God Is a DJ" is an awesome song. Another good electronica band is Juno Reactor.

You're right. They play a lot of Juno Reactor on XM - very good band.

There is another song which is even better...not sure if "Drifting Away" is the title - I think it is on one of the Buddha Bar CDs.

Doc what XM station do you listen too? I've listened to 82, but it doesn't really light my fire.

How are those? I've held a few in my hands at times but never made the leap.

what sub are you going to get? I bought a Velodyne CHT-12 from Circuit City a few years back... and it's a great sub but I can't help but think I could have build a far superior rig for the $600 (after tax)
    say $270 Amp +
    $260 Sub

add a $20 sheet of OSB plywood or just buy a box and you've seriously outclassed anything you can buy for that price

oh and check out Kidney Thieves not exactly what you're after but interesting nonetheless

Crystal Method is a good choice

Faithless came out with a 'best of' CD. It rocks.

Timo Maas has some good stuff too.

I like 82. Sometimes 80 and 81, too. It really depends on when you listen to. My 2 favorite shows on 82 are Kelowna and Kirstin's Genetic Blueprint and Zoltar's show. Great music on both of those. Sometimes, though, the music is pretty blah, but like I said, it depends on when you listen and to what show.

Check out the SVS subs at http://www.svsubwoofers.com. They're "internet only", so you won't see their stuff at stores, but if you follow audio review mags and audio forums, there are very few people that have anything bad to say about their subs. They run from around $500 - $3500 or something, but the high end stuff could bring down a building.

    Here's the one I'm getting : http://www.svsubwoofers.com/subs_pcplus_20-39.htm

I am listening to "Nihil" right now - great kickass CD. The rumor for the longest time was that KMFDM stood for "Kill Mother F*cking Depeche Mode". Supposedly it stands for something else in German. :D

DoD - I know you said you like bass stuff but if you like loud guitars that is on the "Nihil" album, you would probably like Rammstein. Also, Raymond Watts aka Pig has released several solo albums that are good. You know him better for his tenure in KMFDM.

More bands I got my buzz on to this weekend that fit your genre.

    Deep Space Network
    Phuture Primitive
    Shpongle

Try 'em. Good bass, fast beats, great tunes.
