For some reason the first pic doesn't appeal to me. Normally I'd pick silver for an OEM look. I prefer the gunmetal because it's less hassle for washing. My old BMW made lots of brake dust, and those multi-spoked wheels were a pain to clean. Bronze wheels may work too. I saw a white Porsche with bronze wheels and it was quite good.
I have the same car but blue. I was looking into new wheels and was planning on getting gunmetal. I picked that option. They look slick.
he didn't say it was his car. he's trying to decide between the two rim options. maybe some would get each one installed on the car before deciding, but i imagine in most cases it's not a dressing room approach. You look at the rims, find pictures of comparable cars with one of each style and then choose for your car. not saying he isn't lying about it, but not that odd
Neither of those cars are mine. I actually only have a 335i but those are the best pics i could find that represent those two wheel colors. Based on the number of views vs votes, less than 10% of the ppl that view this website actively participate on it. Kinda interesting, im more of a "lurker" myself...
