haha I guess the developer liked them. I will let you guys know when it's up, hopefully within a month. I got them working on it everyday, and there's a few features I think that will work very well
peep this yo... i like 3b better. cleaner/simpler/sleeker design. more professional looking. however, it looks like the napster logo, but w/ a commie star in the middle instead of a kitty or whatever that was. 3a - looks too 90's, if that makes sense. not crazy about the font/text. i like the use of the mic in the logo though - imo, if you could incorporate a sm57 into 3b it would be off da chain!
I see what you mean with napster logo, but it's still a bit different to me, plus I think mine looks better and cleaner. And lol @ commie @DD Great idea, I'll throw that at my designer, and see the result. I'll post results when I get the next revisions, but keep throwing suggestions at me
I have to disagree there. Putting a round object on the top of a star is going to make it look like a person who is shaped like a star. At least that's the vision that's in my head.

I would go with 3b, but it just seems like it is missing something to make it stand out. It looks like too many designs I've seen before so it doesn't stand out at all.
I'd use upper-lower case like CoverStars.TV for a correct first impression. My eyes were seeing CO(H)-VER-STARS. This is a pet peeve of mine. I see ads for johnsallstarplumbing.com instead of JohnsAllStarPlumbing.com which is just more readable.... same with CoverStars.
yea I understand it's simple, but also I don't want to over clutter it. If you have some suggestions though, lmk I'm not sure how you're seeing that. Even the STARS right now is in a bolder text to separate the two words. However I'm revising one to have the COVER and .TV in gold so it'll further separate the two words
You can still have the mic, just have the tip of the star in the background and use the mic sort of more up front but PART of the star. DD
The star. The top of the headphones looks like the top of a circle. The black-red-white color scheme. And COVERSTARS.TV kind of looks like CONVERSE at a glance. I'm not saying its bad, but that's what I'm reminded of.

Logo like that needs to be implemented in vector for longterm flexibility and clarity. Your type looks a bit wack in terms of not only spacing, but maybe horizontal scaling as well. Perhaps not the best font in terms of the sizing of the letters you are incorporating, but maybe fixing the spacing/kerning will help enough. Just my two cents.
