Make sure and drag race it on Tejon or Billy Mitchell (If people still do that).

I've always wanted a Kenne Bell. The kit is complete and ready to bolt on.

Haha! Something about Brownsville and Mustangs brought back memories of 5.0's and GTA's racing down those once empty roads. I haven't lived there since 93, though.

that reminds me of my college days when i drove an 86 MR2 with a stock supercharger. asking if you should have it is like asking, should i buy a Taurus or a Mustang. you don't need the latter but it's so much more fun.

a supercharger is generally safer than a turbo charger because the force induction mechanism is slower and generates less heat. you might want a new fuel rail (not sure what the mustang pumps can handle) since you're likely to burn lean. make sure you get the intercooler also.

Well, after much thought and research, my kenne bell should ship out tomorrow. I've already ordered my hood scoop and deep dish bullitt rims to complete the look.

Oh, and I ordered a 10 lb pulley as well...because the hp bug has bitten before I even received the 8 lb pulleyed supercharger...

Your mileage is going to take a small hit regardless, since the supercharger is an extra load on the engine at all times, being driven with a belt. How much depends on how you drive.
Be careful with going nuts on power, you could be spending more than you bargained for in more HP, and possible engine damage.

Yeah, KB told me that the stock 3v's are good for almost up to 500 rwhp. The 10 lb pulley should put me at 460 rwhp. I need to invest in in some good autometer boost and fuel pressure gauges...and I need to make sure I keep the boost meter in the negative boost for gas mileage. Maybe I'll leave the the 8lb pulley on there for now...

should have got a supra twin turbo. kidding... kind of

but it might not be the wisest decision to get it. could probably use the money on something more responsible. lot of money for just HP. and it could end up ruining your engine at some point.

but you will probably be able to smoke 98% of any car you tried to race on any given day.

I sold my '92 351w GT to be able to purchase this. It's a big ticket item and I told myself that if I sold my car, the money would be used for a supercharger. Of course I could have been more responsible with it, but all work and no play makes FT a very dull boy.

Besides, part of the money of the of the sale of the 92 is put away to take the family on vacation.

I'm not worried about ruining the engine...If I blow it, I'll just rebuild her with forged internals. Problems solved...

So I guess the warranty on that Mustang is done -- correct?

Not neccessarily. I believe only the parts that the supercharger directly causes to blow up is voided... :D
