    why do you guys think every thread started in the bbs hangout that has to deal with people lives trolling?

    i seriously need help or advice. this was the first place i went to because i know there's a lot of smart/genuine people on Clutchfans..

    I gave you some honest tips if it was clearcoat damage. If it's into the paint, you are going to need a repaint on that panel.

    3M compound mentioned earlier will remove the marks. I'd start with wax... using the least aggressive grit and progress to the most aggressive until it disappears. Then wax it again to protect it.

    That looks like primer :O

    It looks like you scraped through the paint, though it's hard to tell from that picture. Pretty safe to say it's more than just clearcoat damage though haha.

    Sorry man, time to fess up. Repainting a panel is not too expensive. It will just take the resell value down a little. Better hope it matches as well.

    Use a clean towel and rub the area in a circular motion.
