    only 50inches and above
or if you sit really close to your tv, you can see pixels on 720p

Here is a question. I used the viewing calculator and it says for a 67" TV i would need to sit about 8.5-9.5 feet away from the television. Some people have been telling me thats too close. Those who have a TV that big how far away do you sit from it?

I have the Samsung Model: HL61A750 DLP and it is awesome.

    About $1699.00 on sale.

61"- great for blue ray and HD Football (can't wait for HD Rockte games) we sit about 10 ft. away

Dang you just missed out on the deal a few days ago. It was PN50A450 plus a samsun 5.1 speaker system and upconverting dvd player for 1K. the TV was 600 bucks after the discount. I'm sure the 550 is better but it was hard to pass up that other deal. Sat there and thought about it but a plasma wouldn't suit my needs since i play a lot of games.

It is!! Me and my girl can't stop staring at it. HL67A750. We both agree the LN52A750 and LN52A650 has slightly better PQ but man 67"!!!! HUGE!!

I can get my seating area about 8.5-9" away from the TV comfortably at that size. My only worry is that might be too close but the viewing calcultor that I used says that's within the proper range.

i'd probably get the smaller tv if you sit that close.

Wow, that is a good deal. Was that a circuit city special? My deal was pretty good though. bought this TV for $1299 open box (with a 3 year insurance plan)

edit: the TV you speak of is a 720p, I was looking for 1080p.

the big tv will bug your eyes out if you sit too close and watch alot of tv.
unless you sit more than 10 ft away, then get the 50.

doesn't matter what resolution 1080p/720p either.

I have the same thing...Mine is a 65" DLP and i"m about that same distance away...when I'm laying down on the couch, no problem...actually, when I play a blu-ray, no problem, it's crystal clear...

It was a best buy deal. Yeah the TV is 720P so it would have made for a great bedroom set. That deal ended fast. Lot of talk over buying the bundle and trying to return the HTS on the slickdeals forum.

I measured my elevator and the box for the TV will fit in there but I have to turn it on it's side with the longest part of the TV facing up. Is it a bad idea to turn the TV box on it's side to get it upstairs?

it shouldn't be a big deal for just an elevator ride.
