I agree. I'm disapointed Harrell and Greene didn't even get invited.

If OU isn't in the Big 12 title game, then that means Texas would be, so McCoy would get to pad his stats against a team UT has already creamed.

Bradford has WRs that he can hit the home run with. UT's passing game is more about short passes and scoring methodically. UT's 3rd down numbers are just ridiculous. It's not like Colt is incapable of going long. I imagine if UT had a healthy Limas Sweed, Roy Williams, and a mature Malcolm Williams, they'd be going long more often.

I think it's funny that the Heisman has 870 voters. Wouldn't a number like that be more appropriate for say, a human poll in the BCS? Much larger sample size so the outrageous rankings we get aren't nearly as significant? Go figure.

False. The Missouri game was the only blowout where he remained in the game for much of the 4th quarter, look it up.

In my opinion, it should be him or McCoy coming away with the Heisman, but I just have a sick feeling it's going to somehow end up being Tebow with all the hype he has gathered in the past week. I think another factor that is hurting Bradford and McCoy is the fact that they are probably splitting alot of votes in the southwest region, giving Tebow a clear edge over them.

Should go to Colt, Bradford will win it. Shonn Greene was the best player in football this year, though

    Ding Ding Ding...

I just don't see Tebow or McCoy at the top as Bradford is...still throwing TD's with f'd up fingers...But again, he has all day to throw...overrated..

It's not called the MVP either (which again people take too literally). It's the Heisman which goes to "the most outstanding college football player".

No disrespect to McCoy and the Texas fans here but it's a toss-up between Tebow and Bradford, in my estimation. Bradford has the numbers to win it while Tebow is clearly the best player in college football.

I know it's a "most outstanding player" award so by that criteria Bradford should win it. If it were an MVP or "best player" award Tebow gets it. This is EXACTLY like 2003 whenever Jason White won it over Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald was by far the best, most dominant and most exciting player to watch in college football that year. However, as you can see with both White & Bradford, Oklahoma QB's are put in a system that produces monster seasons in college and s-h-i-t-t-y NFL QB's. I expect Bradford to be no different.

And for what it's worth, it's a complete outrage Graham Harrell wasn't at least invited to the ceremony. I have no problem with them already making their minds up, but the kid earned his spot. At least invite him! What harm could that have done?

Colt would've won it hands down if they made it to the Big 12 CG.

I was just repeating what I've heard analysts say. They say he certainly has the arm strength but lacks the accuracy on the deep ball. They were saying that if he had entered the draft this year he likely would have been a 3rd or 4th rounder (which I do think is too low). With him coming back for his senior year, they were saying that if he improved his accuracy on long passes that he'd be able to jump up into the first day of the draft next year.

What exactly makes Tebow the best player in college football? His numbers was way inferior to both Bradford and McCoy. Compared to McCoy, he didn't throw or run for as many yards or touchdowns. His "leadership" got them the same record and a home loss to Ole Miss. The entire Tebow campaign seems to be based on the fact that he made a "we're not going to lose again" speech and cried after the Ole Miss game.

The thing about Tebow is that numbers dropped significantly from last year. I think the biggest stat he had last year that really jumped out was the 55 TD's (32 passing, 23 rushing) and being the only player to pass for 20 TD's and rush for 20 TD's in a single season. But with the same amount of games played as he did last season (13) he's got about 1,100 less total yards and 15 fewer TD's. So if he wins, it's kind of like the bar has been lowered because even though they're playing for the national championship, he didn't have nearly as good a season as he did last year.

In my opinion he's the best player on the best team. That counts for something in my book. Of course, in college football there's no way of *PROVING* any of this unless they played head-to-head. We can all thank the lovely BCS for preventing this.

If it were all about numbers Bradford wins it in a landslide. Do you get that "landslide" perception? I know I certainly don't which means other factors are taken into consideration.

Plus it has never been strictly about numbers, or the Colt Brennans of the world would run away with it every year. Tebow is in consideration because of how he has played all year and how his team is doing. Tebow's yardage is primarily down because he has a bunch less attempts than last year. He's had less than 20 passing attempts in multiple games this season.

I'm shocked that so many people think that Tebow's going to win. I re-watched the SEC Championship last night to see what the deal is with Tebow and I wasn't that impressed. Of course because I've been watching McCoy, Bradford, and Harrell all year. Despite using all of my mind's strength to try and will Bradford and Harrell to make mistakes and have a bad game, it just didn't happen. Harrell made that one really bad pass at the end of the first half against OU. I think that was the pass that put him out of the Heisman race.

Bradford tore the Texas defense up in their loss.

McCoy brought Texas back for what should have been the game winning touchdown in their loss.

I didn't see the game where Florida lost but when the announcers were on Tebow's jock the other night for how great he was, they talked about how Ole Miss won because Tebow couldn't run it in from the one. That to me sounds like coming up short at the worst moment for your team in their one loss.

Of the four losses between these four 1-loss teams, Bradford was the least responsible with McCoy being just behind.

Tebow and Harrell didn't make the plays when they needed to be made in their losses.

Once again, after watching Tebow in that SEC Championship game, I just don't get it at all.

Should probably base your opinion on more than one game. I think the announcers were all over him because he took the team on his back during that game. Alabama has a top-5 defense, and UF was without it's #1 receiver and leading rusher.
