That first play encapsulates all that is Earl... there's no hole, defenders closing in... and he just wipes out two defenders, using one arm to throw one into another and making his own hole. Also interesting to be reminded that there was a time when Longhorn linemen were firing off the ball, running hard downfield for blocks and the WRs were throwing good blocks too. I guess when the baddest mother on the field is your running back, it kind of inspires you.
Simply the best there ever was. The lack of longevity the only thing that puts him behind Jim Brown and very few others.
