Seems no one was watching Hedo, just his stats and ESPN highlights. Hedo is naturally lazy, and Orlando's style fit his off-balance one-legged "3s".

Good piece by Kelly Dwyer. I don't think Hedo is that bad-- decent fit with Orlando at least, but $55 million for his services in his 30s is excessive.

Hedo was indeed a roleplayer, kinda' like the opposite of Battier. If you watched the Magic last season, you would have seen that although offensively he more than carried his weight, his defense was beyond horrible and it cost the Magic the championship (Kobe and Odom abusing him ftw!). The problem is he went to a team that was already solid offensively but needed Defensive help big time. Without someone like DH covering for his weaknesses all his flaws became exposed.

Man, oh man, the raptors are screwed. They blew that number one pick with bargani, hedos got this big contract, bosh is bolting. Its funny, because if you like at the stats a lot of their players get double-doubles or numbers like 15-7-3. Its just, the unit doesn't gel together

Its a good move. Alcohol is way too accepted in society these days. Doesn't hurt to send a message that says it isn't all about partying.

No doubt, I was just about to say that. Opposing teams would truly be scared of the rockets if that happened.

The other day I checked out the Toronto Raptors Real GM.com message board, and all of them seemed to agree that the rockets have the best trade offer out of all the other teams possibly landing chris bosh.

Pretty sure an offer of Battier and Jeffries was not what those fans had in mind for Bosh. They expect Scola and Brooks or Scola and Lowry.

Are you Muslim? I know that 99% of Turkey is.

If so, Assalamualaikum my fellow Muslim brother!

    Yeap, Alaikumselam bro.

right but it's not an unforgivable sin. %60-70 of Turks drink actually. Maybe more.

    Bryan Colangelo on the Fan590

by RaptorsHQ - Franchise on Mar 31, 2010

In case you missed it, a few hours ago, Raptors GM and President Bryan Colangelo took calls on the Fan590 regarding the season to date.

    Link to interview:

    http://www.fan590.com/media.jsp?content=20100331_101112_696

    Stuff he discussed:

Whether Bosh is a max player is up for debate right now.

He also says you can’t just point a finger at the guys are around (Chris Bosh) “… you have to point a finger at Chris too”.

Turkoglu is from a Muslim country, but he's not a Muslim. He's from a Serbian background and is apparently non-religious, since his parents didn't want him conflicted between Islam and Eastern Orthodox.

That pick is too far out and too protected... make it Lowry instead of Andersen, and the 2011 pick (Houston or NY, whichever is higher) and I could live with that as a Raps fan.

If he said that on the radio, it erases any doubt about Bosh leaving the Barney's this summer.

Maybe a finger should be pointed at the GM for putting so many marshmallows on the roster.

I can't stand Hedo Turkoglu, he represents the Raptors well though, a crappy franchise, a waste of time to follow.
