Not surprising, you sounded utterly obnoxious. Most of us were there to see and hear THE GAME, not you.

What? It can't be? You actually paid good hard earned money to go to a game and enjoy it....pFFFT...give me a break, it is the right of all fans to scream and stand and stomp their feet, no matter whether it ruins the experience of the game for everyone else.

It is their right to be obnoxious, don't you dare complain about it either.

    SHEESH !

Who cares. People got a good laugh, and I had a blast cheering on my team. The person who "shushed" me was an overweight mid-50's woman who was an usher for Toyota Center. If someone told me to lay off my heckling I would, but hell even Raja Bell got a kick out of it so whatever.....

Ok, so, let me get this straight.

If you ruined the experience for a lot of people, that is ok, because Raja Bell got a little chuckle ?

So you piss off all the fans of the team you are cheering for to garner the good will of an enemy combatant.

    Well, ok, then....

Definitely. I saw you on league pass. Right before Bell went to the free throw line they showed him look into the stands and smile, then they showed some goofy looking dude in a red hat yelling at him ;)

I couldn't tell what you were saying, but it was obvious you were heckling him, and that it got his attention.

    Nice work.

Obviously NOT a candidate for the Rockets Rowdies or Rocket Fuel, or whatever. We're not at the game to be obnoxious, we're at the game to support our team. It's a tough job at the building with the worst home field advantage in the league, but somebody's got to do it. Hopefully a whole lot of somebodies!

I'm not saying people should be shouting obscenities, but people shouldn't be complaining about other FANS being noisy at a game.

RocketFan - what kind of drum do you have?

You can see mine in the picture - I'm the last guy standing up in the front row...

If you want peace and quite then just stay home, don't go to a public sporting event and expect everybody to bow to your wants. People with your attitude is why the Toyota Center sucks and has no atmosphere.

Why do you think the Usher said something? Do you think that maybe someone asked them to?

Anyway, enjoy the game how you see fit, but don't be surprised if other people view the experience differently.

Usually when I go, I sit in the center court close to the floor, and people there generally get excited when good things happen, and sit down and enjoy the game otherwise.

This is how I like it, so it is ok for me if people want to be baseline rowdies, I will just choose to sit somewhere I can see the whole floor and talk to my compadres.

A little heckling is fine, but if it goes over 15 seconds it's annoying to those around you.

    Hah !

That guy is NOT my compadre, that guy is a crook, and someone I wish awful things to happen to...

    Well played though, well played.

An interesting question. My question is why would the Rockets Organization give us discounted tickets just to come in and make noise if they didn't want us to? I understand that you like to enjoy the game sitting down and chatting with your friends, but if the Rockets themselves are encouraging people to be "rowdies" to get the rest of the fans rowdy, don't you think that that is what they are looking for?

I respect your right to be quiet, but don't get upset when others don't want to.

In my opinion we have it backwards. All of the fans more interestd in cheering and helping give the Rockets a home court advantage have been stuck in the nose-bleeds, while all of the people who are chatting with their buds are in the lower bowl giving us the worst home court advantage in the NBA. I realize that there is a correlation with ticket price and money. But I also realize that the Rockets are trying to make things better by making their intentions known that they want the fans on the lower bowl to be loud and crazy, helping us get back the advantage.

Every arena in the league has the same issue.

Truthfully the Rockets are not a fun team to watch, they are unexciting, they don't play an interesting brand of basketball, and thus the fans react accordingly.

The best thing the Rockets could do to ge the fans involved is not give tickets to a few fans, but it is to put a GOOD product on the floor.

    Right now....it isn't.

hey Drew, were you mocking marion's shot at some point during the game? definitely saw a guy in a white button down and red cap sitting across the other side of the court lacing into marion..... i was in section 123. if that was you, you were pretty damn funny.

as for the game, we really need t-mac to start stepping up. we need the tracy from last year, slashing and driving and drilling j's. the suns make getting an open shot look so easy, it's ridiculous. i still think we'll make the playoffs, but it's glaringlt apparent we have no answer for the suns.... they have our number this year.

    hah,

Whatever RM, Exactly whom have the Rockets beaten during this "fools gold" streak?

Any winning teams? Any playoff teams? What is our record against teams in our own division? Or better yet, what is our record at home?

Look, I am talking about our players, the coach, the boring brand of basketball, and the passionless players.

Fans can sense whether or not the players care about winning and are trying their hardest, right now, the Rockets lack leadership and a never say die attitude.

Yao may get it one day, he is certainly making giant leaps towards it now.

But the team is just listless. The energy is just not there.

yeah watching on pplive i definitely noticed it when raja just busted out laughing right before his free throw. i wasn't sure if it was a fan or a player on the floor that said something, but cool, now we know. i couldn't really hear what was said, but i thought it was funny that he just lost it! must've been something pretty clever. *props*

what exactly did you say (just curious)? is it repeatable here?
