It would have been legal if there was a way for the government to profit off of it. Heck, just go the, they want liberty and we want to bring them freedom route and go take it all.
I think Zoork did educate himself, rather, somebody plopped him infront of a projector and made him watch this:
Are you kidding? Off of the taxes alone they could wipe out a very large chunk of national debt. Farmers would have something else to grow, keeping them in business. Etc. Etc. Etc.
