This...good post. Bron is dominant and Knicks are fouling a lot, but Bron's flopping overshadows it all because it's so damn dramatic.
You don't know what it would be if the refs were fair. Unfair officiating hurt you more than just the bad calls. It takes all the momentum you want to mount out of you and makes you think it really doesn't matter how you play because they are going to screw you anyway. Now I am not sympathetic of the Knicks. A tough minded team would respond in a positive way. But Don't you just say the refs didn't have a hand on the outcome. I still remember that Lakers-Kings series game 6. After a while, the Sacramento coaches and players just shook their heads and laughed. They realized that no matter what they did, they're not allowed to win the ball game.
Battier and Lebron got into position. That is letting players decide the game. I absolutely hated the double tech at the start of the game. The flops are gonna make people ignore how ****ing amazing Lebron was in that 2nd quarter. So completely unstoppable. He's so amazing
You do know if you let charges go, and you call them later on, it's going to be worst for the course of a game. Refs have to be consistent. And they were consistent in calling those charges. And those were charges. The problem with the refs so far is falling for these flops, and really the 2 lops were all LBJ's. They were fouls, mind you. But flopping just makes it so bad. They should have given LBJ a technical on the first flop b/c it was ridiculously bad. Ultimately, the Heat are winning b/c the Knicks have no business to play against the Heat. They are in 2 different leagues. See the LBJ/Melo matchup to see why.
some where but lol at the flagrant and all the charging fouls on the knicks at least half were straight bs. the knicks are losing half cause they played like crap and the other half is these terrible refs and flops
People complaining about Lebron would be the 1st ones rocking his jersey if the rockets traded for him. And complaining about flopping when our beloved Rockets are the biggest group of floppers in the NBA
lol @ NBA Michael Wallace on ESPNRadio is just absolutely ripping the refs right now. Just heard him on the radio. stuff like "the knicks are playing 5v8". unbelievable that in the series with probably the most star power, and on national TV, the refs completely takeover and basically destroys any chance of the Knicks winning this game. Noone is gonna be talking at all about the game or the fact that Bron is just killing right now. Everyone is gonna be all up about the disgusting discrepancy in FTs. I'm not gonna even bother watching the rest of this series if it's gonna be like this. I'm already having flashbacks to the last time the Heat were in the finals and Wade went to the FT line like 25 times in one game. Just disgusting.
But the Knicks ARE fouling. The Knicks simply can't contain the Heat on the perimeter and reach in every damn time. The only problem is LBJ flopping on the two FOULS. He's not flopping on non-fouls; he got fouled and exaggerated it by flopping. The Knicks have zero chance in this series from the start, unless Melo makes his jumpers.
Lol that is just horrible. But seriously, you can't let the charges go. All of you guys would have loved that, our team has been using that as drive defense for a while now. That's part of the game and should be. You just can't recklessly drive into the paint... But the flopping has to go.
alright, that's fine. but don't b**** when you decide to send a message and the refs aren't there to be nice to you. it's not like lebron falling out against jr was something chandler hasn't seen 9 million times this season (the guy played with dirk nowitzki last year). if he wants to send a message afterward (when he already has 3 fouls in the 1st half), then you deal with the consequences. the 2nd one wasn't a flop. the replay showed the neck snap pretty clearly. unless lebron practices snapping his neck on unexpected collisions without actually hurting his neck so he can then pretend his neck is hurt to draw a flagrant.
Carmelo 1-9, Smith 2-8, Stoudemire 2-5 Knicks with 14 turnovers. Put yourself in a tough position. Gonna be tough for them, to say the least.
so are the Heat. Just cal it both ways, that's what any good basketball fan wants from the refs. The refs are completely one-sided right now. With the way Bron and Wade bull rush the basket, they have not picked up one offensive foul, yet the Knicks have how many? It's silly. and the NBA deserves to have everyone in the country see this.
never said it wasnt a foul what pisses me off is the flop that gets a flagrant call should be fined srs
