he was talking about the play where he pump-faked carmelo in the air and the refs didn't call the foul.

When Lebron goes to the rim with the intention of scoring, the Heat are unbeatable. When Lebron goes into the paint with the intention of making a play (pass), then the Heat become beatable.
wow, did they seriously not call lebron purposely fouling carmelo with the foul to give just so melo could have a wide open shot? heat had a chance to really open it up right there but with lebron's missed free throw and that terrible call it comes right back to 6. the knicks basically lived on contested 20 foot jumpers and got away with it for a half. on the one hand, if they keep doing that, they'll probably lose. on the other it's not good for the heat that they played D pretty well and are still only up 6.
When shooting a mid range jumper while the shot clock is running down he always tries to draw the foul....just like martin
yes, i saw that. right after lebron pump-faked carmelo in the air and looked to try to draw contact more than trying to make the shot, a lot like kevin martin does. not driving it for a dunk on a random semi-fastbreak probably wasn't the comparison to kevin martin. or else everybody in the league is like kevin martin. it was supposed to be side out for the knicks. the heat had a foul to give and lebron took it and the refs just ignored it and gave melo a free shot.
Knicks are down 6 and the entire halftime was devoted to how great they've been playing? Is that their standard now? "They're only on pace to lose by 12 points! Damn, they're dominating out there!"
although having said all that, i had no idea why the heat were using their foul to give when they had just scored with 29 seconds left to set up a 2 for 1. using your foul to give with 10 seconds left with the shotclock at 5 is ridiculous. it is still plenty of time for the other team to score and gets rid of your chance for a possession. beyond stupid. i don't know if lebron decided to do it on his own but that seems like something the bench yells out on a case by case basis. so maybe the refs were just trying to help miami out of their mistake.
man chris bosh makes plays like that way too often. heat up 9, play great D, airball comes to him and he lets it get stripped for a dunk instead of a transition opportunity. he does it too much.
I don't get why LeBron averages more points, shoots a high field goal and 3 point percentage than Carmelo over their careers, and yet Carmelo is considered a godly scorer compared to him. Is it all of Carmelo's first round exits that have added to his legend? I don't get it. Versatile, yes, prettier, yes, but not better.
the heat are putting on a clinic on how to not blow a team out when you could be. bosh and lebron with 3 missed free throws, that gimme dunk for chandler, baron making that shotclock beating heave of a 3. they're dominating and yet up 7.
