This feels a lot like 2016 all over again. Seems like the best year to be a free agent as players seem to be signing for absurd amounts. It is probably just one of those years a lot of teams have cap space and are competing for a handful of proven talent.

He’s the only one of the pieces that doesn’t have the injury prone label yet.
So, no to answer your question, but he won’t be able to do it alone if the others are recovering from injuries for large portions of the season.

He’s not better than Hield and barely bette than McDermott.

i think I’d take McDermotts value at this point - $4 million a year difference is meaningful and 2 ears and $58 million in total extra contract is very meaningful. But Robinson is slightly better.

of note … neither the Kings or Wizards are in love with those contracts right now.

was Robinson restricted or no? Who were they bidding against? Feels like if they waited for McDermotts contract to get announced they could have gotten a better deal….

Yeah, you’re wrong. In the past two seasons:

    Robinson: 13.6 3PA per 100 poss. @ 43%
    Bertans: 13.7 3PA @ 41%
    Hield: 14.6 3PA @ 39%
    McDermott: 9.3 3PA @ 41%

Robinson is younger, a better shooter at volume and has translated his shooting over to the playoffs while the others have not.

great shooter obviously. But that sure is a lot of money for what looks like someone who will be coming off their bench and not playing as much as before. Does he warrant $90 mil. I'd say no but good for him
