Forget free throw shooting, we know he's not good at that, what people completely miss the boat on with Shaq is rebounding and defense, he always gets a pass in those two phases of the game. You can tell he doesn't care either, when after every loss he blames it on him not getting the ball enough, well that's true, but not on offense, he needs to get more boards and blocks.

Shaq is still the 2rd best center in the league right now. He could easily to #5 next season though.

Wade's game is purely built on athleticism and when opposing defenders don't buy his cheat pump fakes (ala Hinrich), Wade is in trouble. Dude does not have any reliable perimeter game. If defenders and referees refuse to bail him out, or if the league changes the rule again on perimeter defense, he will be downgraded from a superstar to a good player in a night.

He won't get calls in world games for sure and that's a big part of his game in the league.

    I know, huh?

The Heat just came out with too much confidence and the Bulls jumped on them and played a great game. The Heat will be back and be ready for game 4. But like I said before, if the Bulls pull off game 4 somehow, I have a feeling they might have a shot at this series.

As for Wade, yeah, his game is based on his athleticism. What's wrong with that? He's athletic, might as well use it. Even though he REALLY needs a 3 pt. jumper, I think his game is fine. There's not too many defenders that stop him AND that wasn't even one of his good games as it was. If you're making assumptions like people won't fall for his pumpfakes so he'll not be good anymore, it's not like he can't change his game.

If the NBA changes the rules again, then it will take every player time to adjust, so Wade is just going to have to adjust. However, there is a chance might end up like Gary Payton when they made the hand check rule.

So, Is Posey suspended at all? This should shed some light on Artest bias.

    so true.

he might be a superstar, but the people who think he is on the same level as a healthy tmac, lebron or kobe need to stop smoking the ganja.

    repost from the playoff thread:
    _______

Forgive me if this has been mentioned mulitple times already, but how much of an utter tool will Pat Riley look like if he is eliminated in the first round after forcing SVG out?

the miami heat are worse than their regular season record indicates. I thought Nets would take them out in the second round, but i can live with a first round exit :)

    Damn, wth.
    Series tied 2-2 now.

    What's going on with Miami.
This crap with the Bulls and Bucks actually fighting back (Milwaukee actually owned Detroit last game) is messing up my McDonald's Pick and Roll bracket on NBA.com

I loved watching Miami fall apart and start bickering among themselves. I don't really care for Pat Riley much anymore. I got a great gift when neither Karl Malone nor John Stockton won a ring... now if only Gary Payton could retire without a ring, that would just complete my trifecta.

You are setting the bar too low for a superstar.

You beat me to it. It was disgusting what he did back then, now he's going to make himself not only an egomaniac, but also an idiot. I can't stand those cocky faces like Payton, Walker etc etc.

Miami is still going to win the series, Tyson Chandler got injured. They barely got any frontcourt.

Anyone else think Payton is a little b**ch???

For a guy who has done nothing but been a Shaq's puppy last couple of years,in a desperate attempt to win a ring, he sure yaps a lot.

Gary, when you were good, it was ok to yap, although still annoying.

But please, STFU and just play when you are depending on Shaq/Wade to flush the toilet for you.
