Heat maneuvering could net Mike Miller, keep Haslem

    Interesting... so the Heat is going to basically run with no draft picks. Not that low 1st rounder turn out to be stars or anything all that often, but basically cutting yourself off from an important source of inexpensive talent is generally not good.

    Oh well, Riles likes his vets.

    It's actually probably the best strategy. 1st round picks = guaranteed salary, and who knows what the new CBA will look like. If they are any good their 1st rounders will be near 2nd rounders, where the $$ isn't guaranteed.

    Miller and Halsem would both be good for rotation. But they need to add Shaq plus another 7 footer who can rebound and play good D.
