It would have been foolish to put Wade on Kobe. Wade is easily the Heat's best perimeter defender, but why tire him out on the defensive end when you can put a long, athletic player like Wright on Kobe and defend against him with smart team defense?

If the Lakers were smarter, they would have put Smush on Wade and allowed Kobe to roam on defense. As it was, Wade worked over Kobe on one end, and that probably took away from Kobe's offense on the other end.

Well. Christmas is on a Tuesday, so you don't have to deal with Monday Football.

I hope we see some type of Double Header.

Like a midday double header. One game starting at 2:30 central, followed by the other game at 5:00.

Hopefully, the Rockets are involved in one.

If they want to start at noon, feel free to do so NBA.

Have a noon central tipoff, followed by another game at 2:30.

How about letting all NBA players rest on christmas day? Good idea? nah, Christmas means money in the NBA! Daivd Stern just wants more publicity to get more money out of any sort of holiday he can dream of. I'd rather have a Kobe-Lebron game, or even a Suns-Wizards game, two high profile point guards going at each other in what will be an intense scoring match. That's a pretty good idea actually, see who can score more points.

It should have been CLE-MIA game 1 and SAS-DAL game or PHO-DAL game 2.

I think the Christmas Day game should always be the rematch of the NBA Finals from the previous year (this year it would be Mavs vs Heat). I'd love to see Wade destroy the Mavs again.

    You're right.

No more NFL Football on Thanksgiving either.

    Forget Tradition.

ESPECIALLY THAT STUPID NIGHT GAME ON NFL NETWORK.

The Suns need to be playing on Christmas day -- the Heat and Lakers are boring as hell.

You know who I want to see?

    The Cavs and the Wizards.

This could be a great rivalry.
