This. I don't understand why people hate the Heat. What have they done to the Rockets? The Heats never flop like fishes out of water against the Rockets. I thought hating teams such as Lakers, Mavs, Jazz and Spurs was a prerequisite for being a Rockets fan. I guess not.

Ultimately, yes, I want every WC team to lose, especially the contenders. Have to admit, though, it does feel good seeing the Heat flounder. I guess I hate the Hype as much as the rivals.

Please. If there's anything akin to the "evil empire" it's the Lakers, who've been in half of all NBA Finals (think about that for a second) and routinely get star players signing or being traded due to nothing other than their historical legacy, ensuring that it will perpetuate. I'm not a Heat fan and I have no problem with their team; in fact, I love that they may actually be able to give competition to the Lakers because it's annoying seeing them win every year.

But if you didn't have the Heat, you'd have the Lakers winning the next 5 or 6. Is that really any better? At least we may get some good Finals. If the league really wants parity it needs to cut down on BS "trades" (*cough*Gasol for nothing*cough*) and regulate free agent signings (since obviously there was collusion involved in the Heat merger).
