Now you're tripping. Maggette is worth way more than Rafer. Younger, athletic slashers are coveted nearly as much as bigs are. Nearly.

Rafer Alston and Kirk Snyder for Maggatte straightup works.

Snyder is basically a poor man's Maggette anyway. And for a bench player, that's good enough for me. Not to mention Snyder makes like 5million less and younger.

Exactly. i could see the clippers being interested. plus Snyder has potential to be a solid player up there. he also has a expiring contract. We all know how donald sterling likes to save money.

You talked up Snyder . saying why we should keep him. well The clippers could see those reasons to. they could see Snyder as a solid bench player there and Alston Upgrade everyone there not named cassell at the pg position. we would be crazy not to do a rafer+ snyder for Corey maggatte.

Wasn't there a rumor about Mobley coming to the Rockets? Let's hope it's not for Luther and Alston.

Note to Blazer Ben and Navmen I think it would save us all some time if you guys just gave eachother direct lines. This is not a chat room.

But i dont know hoe legit those " Rummors" were. Maggatte is 2 million cheaper then Mobley and we'll probaly be able to keep head. not to mention Maggatte>Mobley.

Omg. Shut up about Maggette and Mobley neither are coming here we are not going to make either our 3rd highest paid player when we do not need them. Blazer Ben please just stop and maybe you would not be a 5,000 post rookie. You do not even make sense you say Alston is a scrub that Miami would not want and then you say he is good enough to get and even better player in Maggette.

Maggette would be an awesome addition... Despite our hole in pf, we can more than make up in other areas. Its not like every other team is stacked in all 5 positions. Even Dallas, supposedly the deepest team in the league is extremely thin in the front court IMO, with Dirk as a perimeter 4 w/ really no one behind him and the 5 manned by Diop and Dampier. I don't see how that's different from what we have right now with Yao = Dirk, and Scola + Hayes + Butler + perhaps mutombo being greater than Diop and Dampier.

Maggatte is a fearless player. he'll attack the rim non-stop. having two very good role players like Battier and Corey would be Awesom. with corey in there he can get teams over the foul limit in no time. thats he's best asset. he can draw alot of fouls. i think a Scola, Hayes and landry/Novak rotation is good enough.

I agree, he's a legit 2, something that we are currently lacking - i don't consider T-mac a 2 and both France + James are slashing pgs. Maggette + Bonzi would make a fearsome combo with size and varying styles.

That way we're stacked from 1-3. Since most teams play small ball these days, I think that might actually work.

Exactly. there nightmare matchups. both of those guys would post there smaller opponents all night and rackup fouls in no time. by maggatte and bonzi getting teams over the foul line it will also make yao's life easier. teams wont have the luxtuary of playing over aggrasive defense on yao.
