    I agree. Too many people try to place a person intoxicated as not in the right mind (as if they were claiming insanity) but the choice was made to over drink knowing you had a vehicle you could get into to drive home. If you kill someone drunk you should be held in the same way as if you killed them sober.

    My heart goes out to Danual and his family. What a tragedy. I hope the drunk driver has years behind bars to think about what he did to those innocents. The cop who stopped him and then let him go shortly before needs to be investigated for possible dereliction of duty, in my opinion.

    Its dumb to bring race into these conversations, especially when the suspect was a black man, thus totally destroying your narrative.
