With his answers of "I don't remember the conversation" for every answer, its pretty crazy and how Andy "misunderstood" what he said.
LOL This guy is bashing McNamee about him lying to protect players..... Come on....does he think that people don't understand that McNamee was lying to protect his livelihood to the press? This guy must have gotten some autographed baseballs from Clemens. DD
Max, I refuse to believe that you are that naive, and actually believe that a guy injecting steroids is going to ADMIT it to the press.... Come on..... Being under oath is a different animal....you are grasping at straws. DD
We have two guys under oath. They have conflicting testimony. One has a criminal history. And has repeatedly lied about the matter that he's now testifying about. His statement came as a result of an interrogation where he was threatened with jail time. The other has told the same story from start to finish. Despite doubts that he would ever show up...or that if he did, he would plead the 5th....his story has remained the same. Despite the fact there is the possibility that physical evidence would show him to be a perjurer who would face jail time in a federal prison. His story hasn't changed.
Except where it DID change... "Brian McNamee has never injected me with anything" then.....ooopss.. "Brian McNamee injected me with B12 and Lidocaine" DD
If my trainer without my knowledge or consent put a shot of anything into my wife with a needle they would cease to be my trainer immediately. And if I knew my trainer put STEROIDS into my wife without consent with all the STEROID issues surrounding baseball, I would turn that nut job in... Protecting McNamee makes no sense. It's like protecting steroid use in baseball. Clements is guilty as sin of protecting this guy. Whether he ever had any injections or not he at least should have had the integrity to turn this guy in. That really disappoints me. I hope he never used steroids. But I find his association with McNamee either condemning or unrestricted arrogance. No one should be so loyal to have a trainer that creepy.
and McNamee's story has not changed about that either since the Mitchell report, at least that they did steroids/HGH. I think now we are going to have to wait on the evidence etc. DD
