honestly i don't know what point you're trying to make. if your point is that dems don't support gay rights in iraq because they don't support staying, that's ridiculous
As opposed to looking for cheap jokes regarding what everyone considers a tragedy? I would rather not debate the issue but I find this to be distateful and disrespectful that I feel compelled to not remain silent.
maybe nothing, which is my point. Democrats have been silent on the issues I noted above, including, largely, Darfur (most republicans are no better in this regard), except to chastise W for prosecuting the wars in the first place. i believe we should have had troops in Darfur, not because we had a strategic interest, but because we had the means and opportunity to arrest the slaughter of innocents, which equals a moral imperative in my book. the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq had the collateral effect of free millions of women who'd lived in bondage, a gay men and women who'd lived in fear. Democrats dismiss this line of argument, but have no real policy of their own, and seem to prefer to try to understand the oppressors, than working to free their victims.
I was disdainful of Ted Kennedy for many things but at the same time that wasn't his whole life. Ted Kennedy like everyone had some very deep flaws but he also did some great things. Consider though again while both Democrats and Republicans have spoken very highly of him and why even men who were politically diametrically opposed to him still called him a close friend.
Sure thing, sailor. This, from the guy who has said I want to kill babies, I love it when Americans die, I hate Downs Syndrome babies and I'm gay (LOL). Nobody on this board is more guilty of sh!tty, unfounded, personal attacks than you, you stupid ass. It is hilarious that you would complain about the moderating here. If anyone was paying attention, you'd have been banned for life ages ago.
i'm not sure why that would trouble you so- thinking someone is gay is certainly no insult, in my book.
Calling my girlfriend a man is. As are all the other stupid, unfounded insults you've hurled -- each of which is way more personal than calling you an ******* or an idiot, especially considering that the truth is a solid defense against charges of libel.

Are you Ted Kennedy? If not, none. I try not to make a big issue out of politician's personal lives (any of them, regardless of party). I'm more interested in the good and bad things he did as a Senator. As far as I'm concerned, the Chappaquiddick episode is between him and the victim's friends/family. Kennedy did a very stupid and very wrong thing that he had to live with. That's the extent of it for me.
