Don't smoke Don't drink I do exercise constantly and drink lots of water. However, I do have a very poor diet and drink still too many Mello Yellos (about 3 or 4 a day). Yet when I had a physical done back in February, my cholesterol level was at 100.
The most irritating part about this thread is that I now have Adam Ant's "Goody Two Shoes" stuck in my head. Hopefully, now you do too.
When one of the first three things on your mind when you wake up in the morning is alcohol. When I first moved to Houston, I'd wake up and drink a beer, then go on with the rest of my day.
Fitter, happier, more productive, comfortable, not drinking too much, regular exercise at the gym (3 days a week), getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries , at ease, eating well (no more microwave dinners and saturated fats), a patient better driver, a safer car (baby smiling in back seat), sleeping well (no bad dreams), no paranoia, careful to all animals (never washing spiders down the plughole), keep in contact with old friends (enjoy a drink now and then), will frequently check credit at (moral) bank (hole in the wall), favors for favors, fond but not in love, charity standing orders, on Sundays ring road supermarket (no killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants), car wash (also on Sundays), no longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate, nothing so childish - at a better pace, slower and more calculated, no chance of escape, now self-employed, concerned (but powerless), an empowered and informed member of society (pragmatism not idealism), will not cry in public, less chance of illness, tires that grip in the wet (shot of baby strapped in back seat), a good memory, still cries at a good film, still kisses with saliva, no longer empty and frantic like a cat tied to a stick, that's driven into frozen winter **** (the ability to laugh at weakness), calm, fitter, healthier and more productive a pig in a cage on antibiotics.
Too many sodas. Too much fast food. Too much stress. Not enough exercise. Commute to work on a motorcycle, even in rain.
I love that song. It's the story of my life (except that I don't drink... but that's exactly why). My health risks: -Not a particularly healthy diet. Involves lots of processed food, chicken tenders from the HEB with hot wing sauce, and french fries. -And on those french fries, lots of salt. I love salt. My blood pressure is actually low, so I'm entitled. -Diet soda by the gallon. Hopefully we're all correct that the artificial sweeteners won't hurt us. -I hardly ever get around to medical and dental checkups. I never get those female checkups either like they tell you to. Amazingly enough, I'm a lot healthier than my friends who get the checkups. -Sleep deprivation. -Caffeine (see above). Includes coffee and those energy drinks. No telling what all the stuff in those does.
Quit smoking one year ago after I bought a new insurance. But still having one can of Coke and five hours' of sleep per day. No real exercise for the past year. I also spend long hours watching TV and DVDs during the weekend. I'm actually getting worried coz. my colleauges said I look like a zombie.
It hit me last night that I've turned into a boring person. When I was in Texas, Friday night usually meant Star Pizza and various illegal substances. Friday night now? High fibre crackers, sliced turkey and going swimming. Par-tay! I probably drink too much coffee now. That's about it.
Consume too much cholesterol. But my cholesterol levels are low so I'm not worried yet. Don't drink enough red wine. Don't exercise.
Well since I'm only 21, it has to be my eating habits but I do exercise a lot not much weights but i play basketball a lot.
Skin cancer. I'm out in the sun from 3-6 every day, and I've even got a tan through my white golf shirts. Oh yeah, and I'm also in the sun from 7-11 in the morning on weekends. Oh, and whatever diet coke might do to you.
