I will take two star players who genuinly like each other and root for one another and put the team first -- not to mentoin two guys who get along and are genuine nice human beings that you can root for -- to be on my team any day of the week.
i don't see how things like this couldn't affect his play on the court. when people close to you die, it's hard to eat, sleep or do just about anything you normally would do. that's how human beings react. we're not robots. but perhaps you are if you believe it shouldn't affect his play.
yeah and it only took him two years to do it.... Get real man, not everyone can be cold like that. some people take these types of tragedies a bit more personally then you are implying. Its not like he has an office jobe where he can go hide in a cubicle away from everybody. He has to practice, deal with the media constantly, be a leader on the floor for the team every night....kinda hard to do when your mind wants to wander and think about the other things. I mean its not like he's human or anything... If your comments are serious then you sir have no soul and thats sad.
It goes to show that the rumors you spread can hurt people you care about. If you learn from it, modify your behavior, and stop doing it, then I'll think well of you. Figure you were immature, but learning as you go. That is how we mature, we learn from our mistakes. On the other hand, if someone continues this type of activity after they know the results, well they are pretty much just an ass.
