It's a sales pitch, he's an employee of Les Alexander, his job is to make Les more money. Heck, even JVG who almost NEVER does any PR stuff for the team was touring around to promote the team. Les is sending all his top guns out to get the fans excited about next season, that much is clear.

probably just a misunderstanding between him and clutch....Im sure Clutch will eventually let him back in

it wont speed it up, and it might hurt his chances of coming back if people start making a deal about it.(we have seen that in past instances)
