Headphone recommendations?

    You might want to look into amplifiers such as the Fiio E7, E11, or E6. E11 is supposedly the best deal, but I don't have much complaints with my dinky E6 (ignorance?).

    Good music is a costly habit.

    For those who are still looking for a good deal, these are nice too. Listening to one like it right now.

    Do the ATH-M50 require a so called "burn in" period? Does they sound crappy the first time you get em?

    NO.....they should only sound like crap if they're fed crap.

    Due to a tight budget, I recently bought Superlux HD661. For the price, they sound awesome. My burn-in period is usually 48 hrs. So far so good.

    i'm looking to just get some budget headphones to mess around with, deciding between monoprice 8323's, superlux HD 681's, and JVC HARX700's. not sure which to go with..granted they're all budget headphones and nothing special, but still having a tough time deciding. leaning JVC's since they look most comfortable

    In terms of comfort, you can't go wrong with the JVCs :)
