liu1107s statement is so bad it even made Chuck Norris cry, but then he got up and roundhouse kicked you in the face for making such a thread..

This thread should be 5 stars just because of the crow he has to eat..

In before the lock, this is going to be a classic quote for sure :D

Kind of like saying it was TMAC's fault that we lost to the spurs

edit: He had 13 points in 30 sec! I apologize :D

IN these days, you even do not need to mention Yao, you still can be labled as YOF. You can see how many YOH at these board. This is team win. Head is great to shot the last shot and get in. But before that play, he really played so so games.

i was kinda mad all game that head was playing like a rookie. he looked scared. i didn't want it in his hands before the last play (in fact I mentioned to someone that luther had looked scared all game and i hoped he wasn't the one taking the shot)

But I wouldn't have pinned this game on him if we lost. He is a rookie, and he will have games like this. I have no problems with that, esp. if he's improving

On top of that, he comes through with that shot. cool, calm, swack. (and a big plus--no r****ded celebrations afterwards by him)

Someone mentioned Mobley's 3 his rookie year...somehow this guy reminds me more of cassell. Maybe cause he really seems like he could play point and pass...and he's not a pure SG masquerading as a point for a year. (reminds me of cassell just in the big-shot-by-rookie-PG kinda way. not saying his game is that similar right now or anything)

Too bad you gave up last night. I'm glad the Rockets didn't...

Yeah, I remember that one quite well. <gloat>I think I was the one that was pondering that he should take that 3.... </gloat>

But in all seriousness, you have an emotional fan that feels that the Rockets needed a win badly. He's pissed that Luther had a bad game and as a rookie, he made some mistakes. There are numerous occasions during the game that he had trouble throwing a pass into the post. With that said, I was well aware of his status in Illinois, which is why I was comfortable with him taking the shot. Before I deviate more, is he a YOF because of his post name/ chat handle? Maybe I missed something from previously, is there a reason why speaking to him in broken sentences will help him understand? Joking and all, you know where I'm going.

I wasn't happy with Wesley's performance because he was careless with the ball, but he showed up and nailed 2 FTs when it counted in OT. He also shot well throughout the night. I also felt that Yao was making everything that was thrown his way when he's in the deep post. But I don't see myself as a YOF. I just like the good percentage shots from the Rockets.

everyone's piling on because of your "turnover". had you posted your comments in the game thread the damage would of been minimal, but no, you turned the ball over at the wrong time in the wrong thread.

That's exactly what he reminded me of. Sure, he makes some rookie mistakes, but not enough to cancel out the good things he does on the court, and when the game is on the line, at least last night, he was like ET... without the "looks," lol!

Hey, we've got a gem in the rough. GM's are going to be trying to get CD to toss him into a deal. Don't fall for it, CD. He's going to be good for a long time, and he's just getting started.

IIRC, Sam Cassell was absolutely AWFUL in his first few games as a Rocket. I was shocked how bad he was.. jacking up shots, turnovers, etc. but once he got settled in... it was money.

THe last shot he made will make him more confidence, whichis very important for a rookie.
