Haha..one more Old stories about yao ;)
I just found some old stats of Yao on wikipedia, he had 27 points and 19 rebounds per game in cba in 2000-01. Maybe I'm just dreaming, but if he could put up that kind of numbers in NBA, I'll be laughing in my dreams :D

What's funny is that China lost the championship to South Korea.

China did not lost the Asian Championship to South Korea in 2003, or else you would not have seen China (and Yao Ming) in the 2004 Athens Olympic. Lebanon beat South Korea for the other slots for the 2004 Olympics by coming in 2nd to China in the 2003 Asian Championship.

They lost the gold medal to the South Koreans in the 2002 Asian Games. 2 different tournaments.

Actually he did it about 20 times. Go back and look at the high scorers on the 2006 schedule, especially the games post all-star break. I love Yao, I wouldn't trade him for Lebron or anybody. Yao can do his share of work each game, he just needs his supporting players.

He got 17+ rebs 3 times after the break. I have faith in Yao's ability to score, just wish he can get more and more rebounds(especially offense rebs and turn them into points  )
