What could be more grand than being an NBA player? Not too many things IMO.

Terry's earned $100 mil in his career. Basket'aball been bery bery guud to him

Its obviously not about the money. If he wants to play and a team wants to have him, he should keep playing. Yeah it might hold back a d-league guy from getting a shot, but it a team feels theyre better with a worn-out vet than a young project thats their choice.

Terry is open which is one of the things I admire about him, but sometimes he should be quiet, for his own sake.

He could have worded it much better.

    "he emphatically declined?

He said he "wanted a player who would contribute to the success of the team"

Maybe he meant "ultimately". Lol. I wonder what he's thought of around the league?

The irony is that "He utterly declined" sounds like how Luke's dad would've color-commented the transaction between Luke and Jason.

and that's just the shortened version. The full version is "he utterly declined under the basic rules of human decency in Western Civilization."

It was 201 years ago today that Jason Terry's father, Robert Terry, played basketball. And when I look at Jason Terry I think of Robert, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
