Indeed. It is way too early to agree on something like that. Now, if you are limiting it to just two games...then the Texans made a mistake. But that's as far as it goes.
according to casserly, the texans and everyone else...casserly had nothing to do with the mario williams pick.
That's not possible. The Texans have drafted the best rookies and signed the best possible free agents. Their struggles are directly related to the limits of being an expansion franchise!
That's because the trollish OP got karma reversaled when Young showed some flashes and managed to put together a halfway decent outing in garbage time after a slow start....so the joke is kind of on him.
Besides, I am trying to hijack the thread into one about whether VY should start for the Titans. I say yes, my reasons are on the previous page and they boil to this: 1) the Titans Olines and weapons are terrible so VY may already be better than Collins for the offense because he can add some unpredictability. 2) lots of immensely talented young QBs struggled early in their rookie years or even through year 3 on bad teams, e.g., Elway, McNabb, Eli, Steve Young, Vick--but I think for those with strong character and strong body, which I am quite sure VY has, the experience made them better players sooner. 3) Bring some excitement and hope to the Tenn fans and other players.
There's obviously a delicate balance between trying to bring Young along too fast and him getting frustrated or injured or worse. I think the "one series" strategy by Fisher is kind of silly because it keeps him from getting into a rhythm.
No, no, Napoleon had Reggie Bush but were in too close combat to use him and thus everyone thought Napoleon was an idiot.
You mean you had awesome running backs and awesome receivers but not an awesome quarterback? Cheapskate.
