I wonder how they are going to make this not-gay. As cool as it was as a kid in the 80's....that costume is mega-flaming in 2007. As for Gi-Joe, Hasbro has a stake in the merch rights, so they exerted more pressure to have the movie based more on the 80's version of GiJoe that more people are familiar for and is more in tune with their current products. They want to make sure that their cash cows, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, are in the movie. There are legal reasons the studio's don't want to do this, that I can't reveal.

I vote no-confidence that this will be a decent movie. Such a shame, the franchise has serious potential. I hope seeing some clips will change my mind though.
