[HBO] Real Time with Bill Maher interupted by audience

Well, in fairness to Bill, the majority of the time, he *is* right. (except for PETA, which I can't believe he supports)

And when he's wrong, he absolutely and unequivocally recants and apologizes. Which is extremely rare in the political world, where people cover-up, tap-dance, and fact-smudge their way out of corners all the time.

He may be a smug ******* (which is part of his schtick as an entertainer), but he also has a lot of humility.

 

or it speaks to what a joke the other news organizations are.

 

it speaks to how uninformed the public is, and that's not those guys responsibility. its a free country. their views are challenged by each other. what more can we ask

Over time sensationalist dog eats man stories, articles on how household germs can kill you if left unchecked, followed by a fluff piece reinforcing mothers are not making the wrong parental decisions cuz women are the heroes who will prevent the looming apocalypse, yeah now and then a smug a-hole who tells you real TRUTH is a good alternative.

 

wow, i just watched some of maher's old videos defending animal rights.

he's never seemed like that type...i have even more respect for him now.
