This show has a lot of potential, last night seemed to drag a bit. I'm thinking when it hits its stride its going to be a pretty funny show. HBO/Showtime seem to have figured out the market on how to draw in viewers. Show everyday people doing Naughty things that most people would only think about doing and then smack themselves for even entertaining the thought. Dexter (murder), Weeds (Dealing Drugs), Hung (Man-Whoring out) etc. Throw in some t*** and f-words and you've got yourself a show.
Agree. Part of the problem with the early episodes, IMO, is that he's so freakin' clumsy... a stereotypical high school coach, and we all remember those. While it's realistic to have him be unsure of himself at first and a bit of a clutz, it makes the early going kind of slow. Given time, HBO might have another hit. And I really like the chick paying his pimp, lol! Reminds me of someone from The Office.
Please tell me you saw Eastbound and Down with Danny McBride as "Kenny Powers". One of the funniest shows I've seen.
