I'm guessing one of the pictures isn't showing up? Odd...they're working on mine. Anyways, the first feature of "A Dissertation of Ice & Fire" has been published. This is my weekly article for Gunaxin. In this first episode I talk about the experience of an HBO screening party and review the first episode, Winter is Coming. There aren't any spoilers (other than quoting a couple lines), so please give it a peek. http://media.gunaxin.com/a-dissertation-of-ice-fire-episode-1/88731? Thanks!
I finally saw a clip yesterday...Looks very good...Don't have HBO, so I'll have to wait for Netflix...
Yes I have heard that many providers are having free HBO weekends, though so far I have not been able to confirm that Comcast is one of them, and I already have HBO myself. Another positive review posted: Sopranos with Swords: Movie City News reviews Game of Thrones

Got my projector up. Don't have my screen yet but here is me projecting at 130 inches on my wall. That's my 7-year old son there to give you scale. I'm ready for tomorrow! Spoiler
Wow, that's pretty awesome! Hey, question to all, should we start a new "Game of Thrones - Season 1" thread to talk about the show now?
We could have a season 1 thread after the show starts. There will be episode by episode discussions on www.winter-is-coming.net, divided up into non-reader no spoiler topic and a more spoiler heavy reader topic. Some one tweeted that Comcast is offering 3 free months of HBO if you call and ask. Don't know if it is true, but can't hurt to call and find out. There is an article about what to ask when calling about free premium channels here: http://www.wisebread.com/want-free-hbo-or-showtime-just-ask
