    Hey all, I'm reading the 1st book right now and loving it so far.

    Is there a website that has full size pictures of the maps of this world created by Martin? Would greatly help me process what I'm reading.

    Thanks for any help!

    The other sites mentioned are good, but Tower of The Hand is the best out there.

    I think that happened in the book. Ned told her that he wasn't going to take the position as Hand of The King and she told him that he had to (and this scene is in the pilot episode script and I'm sure I've seen it in the trailers & making of docs). I think the part where she is crying in the new trailer is after he lashes out at her when she starts to inquire about Jon Snow and he strong arms a ho and tells her to "never speak of this again." Just my guess, it's been a little while since I read it.

    Barring tsunamis, general strikes, world wars, or asteroid strikes, you will have the novel in your hands on July 12. I hope you like it.

    At this point I don't care if his publisher is hit with a tsunami during a world war while all it's staff is on strike and an asteroid hits and wipes out the town the publishing house is in afterwards. That book had better come out on the 12th.

    I have not read the books, but this series looks fantastic. how to watch without HBO? How long does it usually take for DVD's to come out?

    HBO releases usually come out right before the next season begins, so I would GUESS February or March of 2012. They're usually on torrent the next day...if you're into that sort of thing.
