Yes, because "Must See TV" flashbacks are what Emmy-nominated, premium cable sitcoms are for. Nineties are over, bro.
The funniest part was that first scene with Leon (no surprise there). The rest of the ep was okay but nothing special IMO. I am really looking forward to how they play out the "Seinfeld reunion" storyline though. Could be one the best season arcs so far.
I was rolling from the first 20 seconds. The whole discussion about the temperature was so hilarious.
Leon is such a badass character. I love when he had his arm around Larry at the end when the doctor was going over everything and he was just nodding his head. This should be an interesting season.
I loved the Bam Bam issue at the dinner table with Jeff.. It looks like the show is picking up from a long break nicely...
Larry: Let me know if there's anything I can do Funkhauser: Actually there is something. Larry: What!?
I was laughing my ass off the whole episode tonight. I really feel for Larry with the whole plastic packaging thing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrap_rage
Oh my god. That was one of the funniest episodes of anything, I've seen in a while (probably since last year's "Lizzing" episode of 30 Rock). Leon was standout as always, Loretta's last rant was great, the BJ thread was comedic gold, and they worked in a completely appropriate dig at the hated plastic packaging. The best part was the way the show intersected the plotlines together. That's a common tactic for Curb, but I don't think I've seen it done so seamlessly well since some of the classic Seinfeld eps. What a start to the season. And we still got the upcoming, Seinfeld "Reunion" which has a lot of potential.
Just saw the latest episode. Epic as usual. Leon always has the best lines. I'm glad they keeping him around even though the rest of the family is leaving.
Doctor: you're as childish and immature as a 12 year old, larry! LD: eh... i think you blew him Doctor: *proceeds to attack larry with book* one of the funniest things i have ever seen... the whole episode was brilliant. this season is turning out to be phenomenal so far.
