Again, you guys are wrong but I don’t blame you. You’ve been terribly misled with the stupid sports media and it’s fans who are even dumber.

    memes, narratives, LeBron circus.

All that bullshit aside, Tyrone Lue is a very creative coach who is not in any way behind the curve on schemes and meta-gaming.

He had literally the best out of timeout ORTG in the NBA in 2017, and was close again in 2018.

Isn’t bad at the scouting aspect.
Led the highest playoff offensive rating offenses EVER from 2015 to 2017. That means literally better than every playoff offense ever. Nash Suns, Curry’s Warriors, Magic’s Lakers did not do as well as his in those 3 years. But especially the last two when he took over.

Is a confrontative guy. Very competitive and even clashed with LeBron at times.

I’m a part-time LeBron fan so I know what this guy was about.

He actually thrives at X’s and O’s, and really is perceptive for schemes man. A lot of guys had their best years under him. And not just when Kyrie was there.

He coached that super flawed 2018 team to a finals berth and almost-win.

He was my #1 option before this coming season and the CP3 trade. God the BBIQ of this team would’ve skyrocketed with those two combined.

Edit: And hell this isn’t even mentioning, he has championship pedigree as a player AND coach. And his coaching tree begins under Phil Jackson and Tex Winters.

Lue has an outstanding track record if you actually look at the substance and know anything about his history at all.

I hope it doesn’t happen because I love him at UH, but my guess is that it will be Kelvin.
