Whats funny is that the people that bash tmac will cause an uproar when we trade him and receive several players who combined do not even compare to Tmac.

You guys call him a wuss, but would hate to have the rockets play against him.

Hayes makes shaggylamda look like a wuss.

By the way, you went to game 2? No wonder we lost--the hater in you was emanating bad karma.

You probably didn't boo the guy from SI either.

Another thread about any player not named T-Mac once again derails into T-Mac bashing. This is getting ridiculous.

T-Mac is what he is. He is ours and we have to deal with it. Let's leave it at that.

Chuck knows that his playing time is hanging by a thread, he doesn't want to get Wally Pipped.

Tmac is under no such pressure....

It has nothing to do with build and everything to do with motivation and heart.

    That was a joke.

But it does play a factor in terms of injury resistance/endurance. If that would've been Tmac, his arm would've been ripped off; but since Chuck has a little meat on his bone, was able to resist that force a little bit more.

One guy is a multi threat and another guy is 1D. What would be the opinion if hayes was asked to score 20ppg and initiate the offense, and be the main passer, and play 30+ mins?

Sorry for the double post but...this also is the truth lol.

When your game is to give up your body and play amazing defense, you'd better be good at it to stay in the league and get playing time. That's not T-Mac's role. Chuck Hayes can't do half the things T-Mac does, so what he can do he works his damn hardest to do. And he does them very well.

    another tmac bashing thread....

2 completely different players. grant hill, penny, allen houston, mark price, wade, arenas, ginobli etc are all wusses for being out with injuries back in their day....

no tmac = no playoffs last year, no future this year, and no one to take over a game. not everyone can have lebron or kobe.

I guess it's style vs. substance. I don't care he cries like a baby every game if he can lead us to championship. Image is nothing to me.

hayes is a big and is sposed to handle more physical pain than a guard. unfortuantely for tmac, hes a big guard. big enough to be pf :( . but his fragile ass body refuses to play the 4 so w/e.

but tmac aint a wuss. last playoffs he had 2 injuries and still balled. his body is banged up too so i wouldnt be too critical. next month he should start his nba takeover.

Just watched a last year Rockets vs Kings game for no good reason...At one point in the game after a timeout I randomly noticed McGrady rubbing his left shoulder with a slight pained facial expression

Just read it was the same game he sprained his shoulder, and the next game he reaggravated it and started wearing the brace afterward. I mean, its not like McGrady's lying about his injuries. Yeah he might embellish the dramatics a little, but he's out there playing. Chuck Hayes wore a mask a couple preseason games, couldnt he have been an overdramatic queeny baby then?

Artest hasn't exactly been an iron man himself and he's as tough as anyone.

T-Mac must lead by example the great ones always play thru injuries. Mj Kobe Majic Bird Hakeem you never nknew they had an injury. Look at Kobe he had the same surgery T-mac Had Wade to and they come back stronger plus they have been playing all summer. You can't have role players sacrificing their body for the team but yet the superstar wants to make injuries an excuse so that he can be spared criticism. T-mac criticism is this he does not inspire others to elevate their game (Artest does) he does fine on his own game but not others.

Hayes has to do that otherwise he will be out of the league. Do you really want Tmac be a Hayes? The track record of Tmac's toughing it out doesn't indicate it is a wise move.
