They would probably add House, B.Mac, Clemons, a mix of that.

Even so, add Luke K in there and we still can't match.

Please don’t overpay an older undersized front court player that just got his back sided kicked in the playoffs.

He was our highest rated player in net rating that series. We needed him to give him some relief out there. I wish we could have gotten a bit at the deadline.

I’m in between both of y’all’s thought process of PJ.

I like him, he’s a great fit, he brings chemistry, he brings a very unique mix of strength/lateral quickness on D with a respectable 3 ball.

At the same time he’s 35 and has 1 year left on his deal.

We are in win now mode, and I wouldn’t mind giving him a 1 year extension for 10 mill, at the same time I wouldn’t mind moving him for a 1st, younger player or upgrade if the opportunity presents its self and it makes sense.

Guy's there are some things that mean more than Cap space. PJ is the guy you want to stay with your franchise.

Yes but is Morey drumming up interest in Embiid? If you want greater value for Ben Simmons then fluff up Simmons.

you would have to roll this trade into the hypothetical LAC trade to make the math work. The LAC combo makes $30 MM total while Russ makes $41 MM.

Yes to LAC package, no to Detroit package, Blake Griffin gets hurt more and worse than EG, plus he is on the decline already

I'd rather have Julius Randle and friends than Blake Griffin tbh...

you only have to add one of them to match salaries. we'd need roughly $27M in outgoing. however that would put us FAR over the tax. I doubt tilman does that unless rus gets traded into cap space to se can stay under the tax.

its definitely possible tucker gets traded. they haven't extended him yet, keeping that trade option open.

Its a bad idea imo. They should not do it. They should give Tucker a position after he retires if thats what it takes for a lower contract. He is necessary for a championship.

I could see us trading Tucker as a last ditch effort to keep Westbrook and Harden.

Could totally see an overpay for Kevin Love deal... Classic Patty Tilman.

there's enough room under the tax there to add the full NTMLE.

however, I think Blake is a huge negative given his salary and knees. do not want.

I feel like Simmons is underrated. Yea he cant shoot but unlike Westy He is elite in other areas like defense. I would really be content with trading Harden, Westbrook Tucker, Covington, Gordon and and just starting clean.

    Covington/Gordon/Tucker/ for Jaylen Brown.

    Westbrookfor Fultz/Aaron Gordon/pick #15.

    Harden for Simmons/Thybulle/Richardson/2 frp.

Use # 15 and the frps acquired to move up for Halliburton.

    Sign Myers Leonard.

    Leonard/Boban
    Aaron Gordon/House
    Jaylon Brown/Thybulle
    Jason Richardson/Halliburton
    Simmons/Halliburton

    9 man rotation

Outside of Harden and Covington, any of these bums can go. I really don't give a ****.
