Well first of all "the rebuild" already stopped last year they already got 0.500 last season and didnt even have their pick this year. So thats just 4 yrs total. Are you gonna count every year they dont win a ring as a rebuild season? lol. Secondly OKC started their rebuild when they traded Paul George for SGA. Not sure why you picked an arbitrary time of trading away Cp3. Thats like me saying the rebuild starts when we trade away FVV. Third, the Rockets never tanked either so their rebuild will be quicker cuz they never bottomed out. They got lucky they managed to scam OKC with Jeremy Lamb and Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb turned out to be a bust so if the Harden trade never happened that team would never have gone anywhere. Finally, teams take longer than 5 yrs to rebuild. Yes good gms take around 5 yrs but good GMs are few and far between. Your examples are all successful rebuilds so how is that supposed to be a slight to Stone? GMs who dont suck oh yeah Presti only the best gm ever lol wtf.
Look at the non-guaranteed years. Stone loves non-guaranteed years like @BimaThug loves 2nd Round Picks.
Well if you're using .500 as the benchmark for a sucessful rebuild, then Morey spent 0 years rebuilding because he never went under .500. The other teams I mentioned also got over .500 after year 3. And if you want to just comp Stone to past Rockets GMs, Carroll Dawson had 2 year under .500 between Hakeem's departure and Yao era and making the playoffs again. And I won't even bring up Patterson for getting Olajuwon when he tanked. So yeah, nothing Stone has done is mind blowing.
