A big gamble, based sefo's play last season, he's not worth it.

Did you watch the OKC series? He was a net negative on the floor, and the crazy thing is last year was his contract year, majority of NBA players (esp. non-max players) play the best right before they are supposed to sign a new contract and then dip in performance on they get a new deal.

4M a deal is way too much if we base it on his play last season, it is pretty clear the Hawks didn't watch him play.

Wow ONLY $4 million a year? He deserves way more than that. Atleast 15-18 million a year honestly. He plays elite defense, has excellent court vision, can shoot from anywhere (He can shoot a full court shot when the game is really close and the coach won't care because Thabo is just that great) and he's also amazingly athletic. This guy is legit one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball. Last season, Thabo was arguably a top 5 player and maybe the 1st or 2nd best SG. Atlanta really got a steal. This is huge for the franchise because they have their player of the future and they will finally be able to sell tickets.

The losers is this are the Thunder. They lost their best player and I really don't think they'll make the playoffs next season especially since Thabo is gone. Oh and don't be surprised if the Hawks turn into the 90s Bulls with the addition of Thabo freaking Sefolosha. Smh I wonder why Darrellle Murri didn't sign him?... Can you imagine a big 3 of Harden, Dwight and Sefolosha? We'd easily be 82-0 for the next 5-10 years. 16-0 in the playoffs too. Ugh... we could've been the greatest team in the history of sports. How big is that?

    Congrats Atlanta.
