Wow, drox. Very sorry to hear this. We just found out some similar news about my wife on Friday and she's scheduled for surgery in a few weeks. The best way to honor your Dad is to pay it down to your children and be the best father you can be to them, which I'm sure you already are. And I'm sure your Dad already knew that. Hang in there, man. And appreciate what you have. I don't think any of us do that enough.

It's never a good time to have something like this happen, but I hope your last holiday season with your father was something you can carry with you in your heart forever. I just read through this thread and I feel terribly for you and your family Droxford. I don't have too much to add to what's been said already except that as important as it is for you to be strong its important for you to take the time to grieve for your father. I hope that you have other family there helping to look after your wife and your kids and I hope you don't feel like you have to take on the weight of all of this for them. As others have said feel free to vent here through the board and if you feel you need to do so privately to someone removed from the situation I am always happy to hear from other clutchfans even in bad times. So drop me a line through the board. I am sure that goes for many others here who know you much better than I do.

I'm incredibly sorry for your loss. I can't believe it's all falling down like an avalanche. I've lost parents, and my mother at one point had breast cancer, and beat it. What a very tough time for you.
