As long as it didn't resemble a dog, I'd try it, starving or not.

I mean damn, it's already dead, don't let it go to waste.

    I wouldn't consider that poor.......

Back when I was in China, I have seen my very own dog get run over at the middle of the night, and have it came limping toward us. Then my mom bring the dog to a restaurant and have it chop into pieces and then cook it, and sell it the next day . I was like... :( ....but i got over it. It's the very same dog that gave birth to 5 puppies , but we have to give away 4 of them since we can't afford raising all 5. But, you'll tend to realize that its pretty natural, and its all about survival of the fittest as time goes by.

If you think eating "dog" is  , i wonder what you would think about human cannibalism ......(back in like the 50s in China). Yes, human eating dead human .

It's kinda pointless to argue about these kinda topic since majority of you haven't face "famine" or whatever (that include me too).

Well, there was this little fajita/taco stand down in Mexico that time a few of us went to South Padre for Spring Break (updawg was there; I think kingcheetah was, too) and crossed into Mexico for some night life. One of my friends (****-a-doodle-doo) at the time insisted on eating beef something from there. I refused to eat it. Rumor was he was eating dog meat but was too drunk to care. I would like to believe it was just beef but one never can tell.

Not to me. Frog legs taste like a mix of chicken and fish.

I love that scene, I had a friend that anytime one of use was eating pork we'd end up reciting that conversation.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, as long as it tasted good.

    So you've tried armadillo?

My dad has and does eat some stuff but coming from where he came from it does not surprise me. He eats beaver (the water-dwelling animal as well as that other one), raccoon, buffalo (the fish), and some other wil game.

It's all about conditioning. If you are fed with dog meat since you were 5 years old, it's no big deal. If you are fed with human meat since you are five years old, it's a delicacy. Some people in Amazon eat spiders, which I would kill myself before trying it.

Actully, drinking milk is disgusting in its nature, after all, it's no different from a pup sucking the nipple of a cow. Eating eggs too, an egg is like an outside womb with a fetus inside. finally, eating caviars is a little like giving a BJ to a fish and then swallow. But we like it because we were told to do so where we were young.

No, I know people try to compare them to cows to justify it, but dogs are smarter and they bond with humans. I couldn't imagine eating a dolphin or a chimp either since they are pretty intelligent.
