Have you watched the Rockets less this season than previous ones?

I watched nearly every game last season. This season I'd say I've only watched about 1/4 of the games, but I still get on clutchfans every day to check on how they are doing, and trades.

 

As recently as 2 or 3 years ago, I would watch every single game and accuse anyone who didn't of being a bandwagon fan, etc. I would roll my eyes as they would say things like "well, now that I'm older, I have other things going on in my life, blah, blah, blah...."

Last year, I honestly don't think I watched a single game in it's entirety. This year, I've watched a few and even went to a game last month when I got tickets for Christmas. But I can count how many I've watched on one hand.

I have become one of those people I used to roll my eyes at. I've got other things going on in my life to where you better give me a good product if you want me to watch as passionately as I used to.

I just don't feel connected to this team anymore. Everything is totally different from when I became a fan. Different uniforms, different arena, different game night atmosphere, different playing style. There's nothing for me to hang on to. Hell, even Gene and Jim are gone.

Seriously, what "great memories" do you have of Toyota Center? Not a single one for me. Sorry, but the 22-game winning streak was pretty much meaningless since we couldn't even get out of the 1st round of the playoffs that year. What about our current uniforms? Are you going to someday tell your grandkids about the time we finally won a playoff series against the Blazers?

Depressing post is depressing.
