yeah that sounds like a scam, i searched and found it, then you fill out a form and mail it to like the state or something then they put things in motion, didnt have to get a membership lol scam
Tried this a few months ago and found $350 for my wife from an old savings account at a credit union that went out of business years ago. Filled out the form and got a check about a month ago.
I found some money that is owed to my wife. Only problem is that her name is is missing the last letter from her name, but everything else (address and the reporting institution) are correct. If I fill out the forms and show proof of everything else will I still be able to get the money? I don't really know what to do. On the claim form should I spell her name the correct way or leave off the last letter? (the way they did)
Hey guyz, I've been wanting to post this for a while but I didn't think it deserved its own thread. I kept getting an email from this famous Nigerian prince who says he wants to be my business partner and he promised me over a large sum of money (in the millions) if I helped him. He just asked me to provide my account information to him so he can transfer the money. His name looked legit and it definitely sounded Nigerian, and the tone of his email was really sincere. So I naturally sent him my account info a couple of days ago. He said that my account will be emptied for a short period of time then he will deposit my reward along with my original money. Problem is, it's been 2 days and my account is still empty. Do any of you know long it takes to transfer money from Nigeria (I mean, he's a prince, he should have the resources to do it quickly!). Should I give it a couple more days before I email him again?
I'd say give it a few days. I had to do the same thing when I got an email saying I won the Canadian lottery (funny because I don't live in Canada & never bought a lottery ticket. I think they must've mixed up my name or something.) I sent them my account information, along with my social security number just in case, and they had to empty my account before they filled it back up again with the millions I won and that took about a week and a half. I think it's best to give the prince his space and wait a couple of days. Maybe send a friendly off topic email, chain letter or e card that will remind him of you, without you appearing to be impatient asking about your money.
3:00min mark of the video. Nigerian Princes really pull through for the lucky few. http://www.mtv.com/videos/warren-the-ape-ep-104-amends/1642842/playlist.jhtml
Yes I did! Sure, I'll send some to you... just give me all of your bank account information oh and btw, I'll have to empty your account before I can fill it back up with some of my lottery winnings
Found $114 today from a place I lived in 2009. My first name was misspelled. https://mycpa.cpa.state.tx.us/up/search.do
